Human Consciousnous

Sometimes we enter a state of perceiving beauty in the ordinary. That specific moment when the mind wonders, when lights play tricks with our eyes, when time ever so briefly stands still.
That space between consciousness and reality is my inspiration.
Using a range of photographic from still techniques from still cameras and digital video cameras, I capture ' that specific moment' with the aim to approach the viewer with an everday perspective beyond traditional gallery spaces, without boundaries.
Citylights provides an ideal context for this aim, it's pop up from nowhere and brings unexpected moments to passers by. Just like those moments when out consciousness finds beauty in the ordinary within our everyday life.
