An exhibition of Melbourne artists in Vienna, Melbourne and Dublin, curated by Andy Mac of Citylights.
An exchange exhibition of Dublin artists at Spark Alley Melbourne, staged in conjuction with Anyminutenow Alexa Coyne and Vaari Claffey and Space-Temple Bar.
Anyminutenow and Citylights present 23 artists from Melbourne Australia show new work at Project in Dublin Ireland and Spark Lane Melbourne. The original work is standard A4 size and sent by e-mailto Dublin, then enlarged to A0 size and posted to a the wall of Project at the Temple Bar and Spark Lane. The exhibition will last until the work is covered by other posting, stencilling, graffiti, etc.
The title of the exhibition refers to a survey which resulted in 67% of Australians stating they believed their government had misled the public in order to lead Australia into the Iraq war.
67% SAY THEY WERE MISLED is the third in a series of photocopy exhibitions and is exchanged with a similiar show of artists based in Ireland entitled RETREAT.
67% SAY THEY WERE MISLED has also travelled with Vladimir Kanigher to Vienna in August 2003, and was pasted up under the Sweden Bridge.
