'Zaishu' comes from the Japanese word 'Zaisu' meaning 'Small seat'.
The Zaishu is easily assembled by slotting together 5 parts that are laser cut from a single sheet of recycled, plantation grown pine. No other production, packaging, labelling or tools are required. This makes the Zaishu a very portable and planet friendly design. All off cuts are reused to create a room dividing screen.Zaishu is a project and not a product, used as a catalyst to encourage collaboration.
